This activity brings power and strength to the heart, lungs and circulatory system for added stamina and endurance for day-to-day cardio related tasks. Bone strength is increased as well. A helpful weight management tool. Benefits: Cardio Training activities come in numerous forms: walking, running, biking, swimming, strength training, court sport, amongst other types as well. Cardio training increases what is called, V02 and Stroke Volume (SV), or the ability of the heart to deliver more oxygen to the cells of the body, through becoming a stronger pump, stronger lungs and overall enhancement of the body. This brings the body to higher level of readiness when the need arise, be it for planned endurance related activity, or at a moments notice to lift walk a lengthy distance from a parked car to a store entrance or climb flights of stairs.
